August is my best month, not because it’s summer and my birthday, but because of the writing conference held by the League of Utah Writers.
This year became special: I received the highest writing award, the Emerald Typewriter, and the prestigious title of the 2026 LUW Writer of the Year.
Shocked. Humbled. Very grateful.
David Rodeback will be my mentor on how to handle such a title with all the obligations and responsibilities.
